4th day in CII course in Mombai

We have introduced to Bandra Inclusive School in ADAPT. We have visited many class in the ADAPT. There were inclusive class in junior class but the in senior class there were only disable children. We were introduce with different teachers, therapist, social worker, doctors, psychologist, students, volunteers and parents of children. Then we have an interaction program with the head teacher of ADAPT and the head of social work department of ADAPT.
Then we have interaction with librarian of ADAPT resource center. We got library card to borrow books and articles. We have met with Roma and Adbul in the library who were working in the library. We have an library hour upto 1.30pm in the afternoon. Then we have a break for lunch for one hour.
Finally at 3.00pm we had interaction with Simons the project director of DDP. He took class on inclusion and inclusive education. He talked all the part with experience he had in his organization. He told that most of the children of Africa with HIV/AIDS are children with disability. They have program in Africa and in Asia. They have program with of and for disable organization. They have program such as income generation, Capacity development, technology use, education & livelihood project, community development approach and others. They are going to have project in Nepal on Disability right and mental Health.
After the session Dr Frances Moore has taken me to meet with him about our work in Nepal. We have exchanged the card. Finally the work they are going to do in Nepal is good and it will do impact.
