A Tree of Life Activities in Study Center

Mrs. Claire Willey organized "A Tree of Life" activities in Study Center, Srijana Bikash Kendra,Pokhara on 9nd october, 2010. I have also observed and actively participated the program. The activities was to draw a tree with clearly visible of 5 parts such as root, trunk, branches, leaves, and fruits. Beyond the roots there should be daily activities of individuals, in roots our backgrouds such as birth place, culture, schooling, influences people etc, in trunks our skills we have such as singing, danching etc, in branches our dreams such as teachers, good persons etc, in leaves our important persons, and in fruits our importants gifts. After completing it all the participants in the study center have presentation one by one.
The activity last for 3 hours. In 3 hour it includes only the first part of the activities.
The activities was very helful to analysis the students about their background, career, daily activites, important peoples, their skills, gifts, etc that shaped them. It was indirect way to find the information of a people.
