Wish you all happy Vijaya Dashmi and Tihar. The festival may create peace and harmony in all house and society of Nepal and all over the world.
The festival has importance in every aspects such as religious/cultural, economical, politicial and socio-cultural valuses. The analysis of this festival in these four aspect are as follows:
1. Cultural Values:
During the period of Ram, he had won on Rawan and brough Sita. King Ram had won on Truth. For the wining of truth so people celebrate this festival so called Vijaya Dashmi. In english Vijaya means wining and Dashmi means celebration. They celebrate with having red Tika on the forehead of people from elder to yonger. The elder people such as grand parents, father, mothers, etc put Tika on the forehead of their children and also pray for the best carer of their children.

2. Economical Values:
Many Nepales people worked whole year to spend in Vijaya Dashmi. Every household have one goat or sheep for meat in their house. They buy new clothes for whole family. They have good foods in their family or house. Most of the family member come together in their native house or village and spend money comparatively more in repairing their house, cleaning, buying new clothes, many foods for having party for their realtives. Many people play cards or lottery for enjoyment. So most of the Nepalese household have consumption power during these festival in Nepal. So the market of Nepal should go for stock during these period. All the products are in high stocks. Supermarkets, shopes, Fancies, meat market are all full with peoples.

3. Political Values:
In Vijaya Dashmi many leader organized the tea party and wishing ceremony. It may be wonderful opportunities to create network and strong relations with their followers and with other parties too. Most of the leader also go to their native village or house and meet their relatives or followers which help to create strong network and relationship.

4. Socio-cultural Values:
Many people in Nepal so outside from their house to work for their family. This is the only on festival many people come and get together. The festival create the environment of getting together to all the family member once in a year. They will share their experience to their other family member which help to motivate towards positive and motivational works. The village or society or house is full of enjoyment, enlightment or full of happy because of all the member are together. They share gift to each other which also create value in society.

Hence the Vijaya Dashmi is only the one festival in Nepal which is celebrate by most of the people in Nepal. Even other religious people also celebrate it according to their own way. All indigineous group also celebrate it. So finally again Happy Vijaya Dashmi.
